(SeeView) announced today that it has completed a turn-key wireless security camera deployment for the parking garages of a high-end apartment complex in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The system utilizes state-of-the-art wireless communications to provide the secure, reliable, high capacity connectivity required to utilize the full capabilities of the system. The system deployed consists of IP cameras from Samsung Techwin that are managed and recorded on network servers running Milestone XProtect Enterprise video management software. Transportation of the data is provided by high capacity, heavily encrypted wireless links. Besides significant cost savings, the wireless solution also allowed for a more visually pleasing system with small unobtrusive antennas (half of which are completely hidden) replacing hundreds of yards of cable runs.
