System provides storage and management for over 300 IP cameras deployed over 7 locations
Fairfax, Virginia – February 10, 2011 – Continuing their ongoing success in the educational market, SeeView Security, Inc. (SeeView) and Exacq Technologies (Exacq) announced today that they have completed the installation of an IP camera surveillance storage and management system for the Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) in Frederick County, Virginia. Supporting over 300 existing IP cameras from Axis and IQ inVision, the exacqVision system is designed to accommodate FCPS’s anticipated camera growth.
Dellea Underwood a Network Convergence Specialist for Frederick County Public Schools states “After exploring several available software options, Exacq gave our users the best features for the price. Our security personnel are delighted with the “user friendly” client interface. Training on the new software takes just a few minutes. The conversion from an older management software platform was seamless. Exacq quickly found our current cameras and with a few clicks of the mouse we were up and recording. As an administrator of the system, I am most impressed with the quick and personal responses I’ve received when contacting Exacq’s support team”.
“SeeView is honored to have been chosen by Frederick County Public Schools to deploy this exacqVision surveillance storage and management solution. We look forward to being a big part of FCPS’s long term video solution as we believe that FCPS is building out a powerful yet cost effective IP video surveillance solution that is a template for K-12 schools nationwide,” notes Daniel McKinney, Vice President of SeeView Security. “Following on the heels of our successful installation at George Mason University, we are seeing increased demand for the impressive features and capabilities that educational customers experience with the Exacq products.”
“Exacq has had a recent string of worldwide success stories with exacqVision installations in K-12 schools,” notes Roger D. Shuman, Marketing & PR Manager of Exacq Technologies. “Frederick County Public Schools staff members can make the most of the easy to use client software freely available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh systems. They can even view live and recorded video using our Exacq Mobile app for iPhone/iPad or Android. The exacqVision cross-platform solution is the perfect fit for educators who value a safe learning environment.”
